Cape Town - Namibia – Botswana – Victoria Falls- Cape Town 17 to 21 Day Tour  

Day 1:          Drive from Cape Town to Upington-camp in the Eiland Caravan Park. Here we see the longest Palm Tree Lane in Africa. We leave very early because it will be a long day`s drive. Cape Town – Clanwilliam – Van Rijnsdorp – Calvinia – Upington

OPTION Extra 2 to 3 Days Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

Day 2:          Drive in direction of Kgalagadi Park. Sleep 15 km before Park.

Day3-4:        Enter the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park at Twee Rivieren. Stay 2 nights in the park. Zebra, Wilde Beest, Gemsbok, Springbok, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena, Eland & much more can be found here in 

                      the HEART of the Kalahari with its red sand dunes. Game drives 

                       during the day.

Day 5:          Leave the park, cross Namibian border at Rietfontein and via 

                    AROAB – KOES – GOCHAS to AUOB LODGE. Sleep at the Lodge

Day 2:          Cross border at NAKOP over GRUNAU to KEETMANSHOOP and Camp there.

Day 3:          Drive to Windhoek via REOBOTH. Visit Windhoek and have dinner in Town in a very special place (Joe’s Beer House).

 Day 4:         From Windhoek to Okahandja for Craft Market. In OTJIWARONO visit Cheetah conservation. Sleep at MOKUTI LODGE just outside Etosha National Park.

Before entering Etosha go via Tsumed and Grootfontein to RUNDU

 into the Capriv to the border of Botswana and visit Victoria Falls and

Day 5-6   

Day7            Drive from OKAUKUEJO over KAMANJAB to PALMWAG and

                      sleep in the campsite at Palmwag.

EXTRA 2 DAYS:    Visit KAOKOLAND Region The Himba Country.

Via Sesfontein to OPUWO (If minimum two Landrovers)

Day 8           Drive from Palmwag to Twyfelfontein with its Bushman Paintings, 

                      verbrande Berg, Organ Pipes and beautiful landscapes. Sleep  at

                      The TWYFELFONTEIN COUNTRY LODGE.

Day 9:         Visit Petrified Forest, drive over Uis in direction Henties Bay, but 

                     sleep IN the desert  between Uis and Henties .

                    (there is no trees, no rocks, no NOTHING, but it is a place one 

                    never forget, camping on the Spitzkoppe)

Day 10:        Visit Swakopmund, drive to Goanikontes, moon-landscape desert.

                     Here we will see Welwitchia plants.

                     Drive to Walvis Bay (here we see the Flamingoes and Pelicans). 

                     Camp in Langstrand Campground 15 km South ofWalvis Bay.

Day 11:        Drive from Walvis Bay through the Namib-Naukluft Park over Solitaire

                       to Sesriem and sleep at THE KULALA DESERT LODGE.

Day 12:        Wake up early, have breakfast in the lodge and drive 60km into the desert

                      and see sunrise in desert, take photos, climb the highest dunes at Sossus Vlei.

                      After lunch drive direction to Helmeringhausen, visit DUWISIB CASTLE. 

                      Sleep in Helmeringshausen

Day 13:        Drive from Helmeringhausen to AUS and LUDERITZ and sleep there.(Camp) 

                     Visit LUDERITZ (Diamond area), KOLMANSKOP (Fascinating ghost town)  

Day 14-15:   From LUDERITZ over SEEHEIM to AI-AIS at FISH RIVER CANYON PARK (Second biggest canyon in the world) and sleep there.(Camp)

Day 16:        Drive to vioolsdrift SA border through Namaqualand to Springbok. (Camp)

Day 17:        From Springbok over Citrusdal & Clanwilliam to Cape Town

General Information and Pricing

Prices:

 We can make you a quote for a 14 to 21 nights adventure, as soon we know what you want to do, where you want to lodge and how you want to travel. The prices for accommodation are related to the time of the year. December and January, the summer months are the most expensive and require months in advance reservation. Accommodation can vary from 250 Rand (30 to 500 Euro) to 5000 Rand Per person sharing all inclusive. 

The more information we get from you, the more your holiday will be an unforgettable one and that is what we want at the end of every day.

General Information for this tour:

The total distance to be traveled will be +- 6000 to 7000km. We will serve breakfast, a light lunch and a proper dinner throughout the trip. All Lodges, camping and park fees, transport are included in the price. Coffee, Tea is included as well.

Wine, cold drinks, beer, sweets and snacks are not included. Small fridge will be available for your drinks. We will camp every night, except day 4,8, 11. We will not drive long hours without a coffee break. The guests are welcome to sleep more nights in a lodge or guest house at your own cost. Meals, coffee etc in restaurants also at own cost except in the lodges where Dinner is included. Menus will be discussed before the tour.  

Each guest can each take a medium size soft bag with clothes. Nights might be a little chilli depends on the period of the year. Days are nice and warm or hot.

We recommend 2 or 3 adults per landrover plus the driver for your own comfort. If a group of 4 to 6 we will travel with 2 Landrovers and fully equipped Off –Road trailer.

We are traveling with new Landrovers 110 Defender, fully equipped with fridge, cutlery, glasses, freezer, rooftent etc.

This tour covers many aspects of nature. Although you will see a large percentage of attractions in Namibia, it is not possible to visit all tourist attractions.

We will stop many times per day to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to take pictures.

A complete detailed  brochure with all activities will be handed over to the guests upon reservation.

On a special occasion champagne or special drinks will be offered to the guests as surprise.

We want to give a feeling of adventure but with comfort.

(Dinners will be served on a nice decorated table with candles, flowers if available, real glasses etc.)
